Bad photo and outdated photo of Dt. San Jose. If you like the closer up and better angle, it's even better than Vancouver's despite new highrise housing gone up there. Walk in Dt. San Jose and Dt. Vancouver, San Jose's will destroy Vancouver's by a mile. Downtown Vancouver is one of the most rotten downtown in the world despite a decent West End. The downtown core(mostly offices/housing and Granville St.) and eastern area are boring and terrible. San Jose's is more interesting and offer more variety of entertainment options. Hey, the weather is much better!

If that's a bad and outdated photo of Dt. San Jose, why don't you post some better, updated photos so we can decide which is really better.

It's cheap to film in Canada and Vancouver often subs in for other cities. One example I recall is Manhattan in Friday the 13th Part VIII.

No, Vancouver only subs in for other cities in films made by American companies.

That's not the point. The point is that it doesn't only get B-movies and syndicated movies no one watches. The guy who said that lied. It gets big-budget movies and top rated films too.

I didn't mean it as an insult, so relax. It's just a nugget of movie trivia.
