Sometimes I hear someone use 'flyover' in a way that devalues a place where people live, work and love. The first term that comes to mind is vulgar snobbery. It's a mark of aspiration, ill breeding and poor learning; unseemly, at best.
Yes, if you read my posts, I am complete agreement. I don't appreciate someone from NJ stating that PA is "relevant" enough, though, to not be termed "flyover." I find that statement telling.
