Sometimes I hear someone use 'flyover' in a way that devalues a place where people live, work and love. The first term that comes to mind is vulgar snobbery. It's a mark of aspiration, ill breeding and poor learning; unseemly, at best.

Pure ignorance. Didn't even move beyond that bolded part.

The world wouldn't have boardwalks if it weren't for New Jersey (first boardwalk and most famous one is in Atlantic City).

Every single state has contributed something, even Joisey. That's what all those lists at the bottom of state's Wiki pages are for.
