Never been to Dothan, but it strikes me as more of a smaller city.. Thinking more inline cities the size of Montgomery, Jackson, Mobile, Columbus, etc.

hrrmm pretty much all those are pretty boring if you aren't college age.

Little Rock, Arkansas. The streets here roll up at 8pm even on a Friday and there is absolutely nothing to do other than go to a movie or go hang out at some place like Chili's.

Though I am sure Jackson, MS, Augusta, and most of the others on your list except for Baton Rouge and Knoxville are pretty bad.
