Is southside #5 and northside #2, or vice versa?
Also like the distinction between South Beach and Miami.

That list looks pretty good. But where in the world did St. Louis come from. I can think of tons more cities that offer more and are better to look at.

Haha, trying to diversify. Also, it's a unique city that I enjoyed a lot, I don't know, it just popped into my mind for some reason. Is that a bad thing???

How bout...Boulder, Raleigh, Seattle, Baltimore? I'm not into atlanta, or dallas...never been to philly.

I forgot DC though!

My top ten favorite cities I base this on my favorite pasttime: walking
1. New York City (no other city in the states comes close)
2. Boston (great transit and very walkable)
3. San Francisco (lots to explore)
4. DC (love the parks and again, great transit and walkable)
5. Seattle (love the weather and very walkable)
6. Baltimore (Boston's dirty little sister but actually very walkable)
7. Chicago (great transit and a lakefront to die for)
8. Philadelphia ( South Street and Center City; the squares)
9. New Orleans (haven't been since Katrina so I am not sure this city still qualifies)
10. Milwaukee ( love that lakefront for walking and biking)
Possibilities to the top ten: Denver (good walking there) and San Diego ( along the coast)

To each his own I guess. When I was there is just wasn't to impressed. The city pretty much comes to mind whenever I think of 'rust-belt.' Boulder and Seattle are excellent choices! It is an amazing and stunning city.
