I think L.A. and Houston needs a subway system being some of America largest cities think they really need that kind of transportation.

Los Angeles is already expanding their subways and they REALLY need it!

But Houston probably needs it the most (before LA).

EVERY car-dependent city should have a subway system. A car could not be the only main transportation alternative; especially these days after peak oil.

Hands-down Houston. It's kind of difficult though since Houston is built completely on sandy marsh soil. They could at least use a much bigger and better rail system. It's about 35 years overdue.

Atlanta has a subway system already. It's called Marta. Just because Atlanta's system isn't on NYC or DC's level doesn't mean it's not a subway. I think it is number 8 or 9 in the country in ridership too.

Two of the cities in the poll--Atlanta and Los Angeles--already have subway systems. Since this poll is flawed, this thread is closed.
