The NBA and NHL play in Dallas.

The NFL and MLB play in Arlington, TX and the Soccer team play in Frisco.

Houston's Aeros (Hockey) plays in the American Hockey league not the NHL. I don't like Hockey and have never been to a game.

the DFW area has won more championships because of the Cowboys. Houston has all of its stadiums in the central city, the teams are just not that great at the moment well the soccer team won 2 championships in their 1st 4 years.

How time flies, Detroit is now the only city with the four soon to be five major sports(Soccer) within steps of one another and walking distance to city center

Now if only they'd bring the Q-Line all the way up Woodward and let us suburbanites ride the train to games... , but I do agree that it's super exciting that the Wings, Tigers, Lions and Pistons are all going to be playing within a stone's throw of each other. I too hope Gilbert gets his way with the Fail Jail site and can bring an MLS team to town.

I miss going to Real Salt Lake games. Between the songs, chants, smoke, confetti, and otherwise questionable antics - pro soccer is unreal when it comes to the fan experience. After seeing the strangeness of flying octopi at Red Wings games, I can only imagine Detroit would do MLS quite well.

hopefully one more thing bringing back DT Detroit to what it can be

glad to hear and didn't realize

Philly has all 4 in the city and in one complex but is a 45 minute walk from DT though a 10 minute subway ride. Philly doesn't have room DT or at least currently a good need to have the stadiums DT and the subway to the complex works well enough

But I do think for Detroit the number of nights where 15-80K people are in and around DT with the events is a good thing and hope only continues the DT revival

Pittsburgh technically has 4.

Heinz Field (NFL)
PNC Park (MLB)
PPG Paints Arena (NHL)
Highmark Stadium (USL).
