Re SF, didn't the OP specify natural beauty? Ugliness, or character, depending on one's view, at street level might not have a lot to do with the hills and water all around Frisco.

i personally think NYC is beautiful. as well as Chicago.

but i do think San Diego. Miami, LA, SF are great as well.

getting lost in a concrete jungle is as amazing as well as getting lost in vast natural setting.
anything around Utah & Colorado is just as overwhelming in its own way. a city thrown in to the amazing mountanous (is that a word?) makes more impressive.

I love the rugged nature of this area and all the water.

Here are pics of the Queen Mary entering SF Bay in Feb 2007. Oldie but goody.

San Francisco has both (natural scenery and architecture). Lovely place.
Too bad about the crazy culture/politics, and it's too expensive for normal people to afford in the city.

18Montclair - nice pics, but I'm not sure nudity is allowed on this site. I could be wrong, though.

RE: awsomo 2000

Denver is like KC? Wow how terribly ignorant...

I live downtown and can see the snowy white mountains as we speak.
