Thankfully, Philly has great hospitals. Might have something to do with the world-renowned universities.

Dont beat yourself up slugger, you did the right thing.

Philadlephia and the Philly region is a juggernaut. As a planned city it puts resort towns like Miami and SD to shame.

Total Rank USA (Philadelphia)

4.Urban Area
4.Television Market
5. Population(city only)
5. MSA Population

The Delaware Valley(Philadelphias CSMA) has a GDP of approximately $480 B.

driving?

mass transit, anti-california/anti-southern sprawl philadelphia is now all about the automobile? northeasterners lord how superior they are due to everything being a just a hop, skip, and a jump away away via mass transit, but let's ignore the train thingy out of convenience.

princeton students don't drive. philadelphia is well over 2 hours by train from princeton. fact. there is a reason why princeton is closer to new york via mass transit, despite being allegedly further by ten miles. again, most princeton students do not drive. for every 1 student that ventures into philadelphia, i'd guess about 20 venture into new york. why? because priceton is more connected to new york. because princeton is in the new york metro.

goodnight.
What are you talking about? Yes there are other modes of transportation which include driving. Who said anything about Princeton students? Let me clarify... my uncle who is a professor at Princeton University commutes every day from Philly to Princeton. His commute is 1 hour on the worst days.
Honestly I don't even know why I'm explaining this to you. Your heads wayyy to far up your own ass. Lighten up and learn not to take yourself too seriously. Although that may be hard coming from NoCal. But try it though, it won't hurt

Aren't we mature bringing San Diego into a thread where it is not warranted to do so. I was hoping to avoid this, but, without San Diego you might not even have a city to live in considering San Diego hosts the largest naval fleet in the world and is the birthplace of naval aviation. Maybe you just don't like your cars? That's fine. San Diego can stop importing them . I think you're just jealous people would rather visit resort cities that actually accommodate cruise ships instead of a city in the shadow of New York. At least people in San Diego have the pleasure of being both attractive and smart.

So we KNOW FOR A FACT THAT:

Princeton is located in the New York metro
Yale is located in the New York metro

If any Philadelphia homers find the above statements false then please come forth.
You would have to be from the Philly/NJ/NYC region to understand. Not even the most ardent NYC resident would try to claim Princeton as part of NYC. Imo the whole Central Jersey area is an independent battle zone with a clear autonomy from both NYC and Philly.

NYC gets the benefits of areas it really has no business being rewarded with. Hunterdon ,Mercer,Warren, even Somerset Counties, the Poconos, Upstate CT. Very wealthy counties that just dont belong in metro NYC.

Not in the least. I started this thread in hopes that an intelligent discussion would begin. There had been no mention of San Diego in any of my posts up until that moment. So take you arrogance somewhere else. I am beginning to realize including Philadelphia in any thread spells that threads doom.
