All the largest city in it's state and all are underrated (imo)
which city/ CSA area would you rather live in and why?
which has the best entertainment, climate, downtown, culture, amenities, schools, history, shopping, and sports?

I love Detroit. It is still a wonderful city, but I would pick Bham or jacksonville because of the weather.

Detroit is my favorite from the bunch for all criteria you picked, but you asked where I would rather live so.....

Jacksonville doesn't have a CSA, only a MSA.

HTOWNLOVE: lol yea I did say that, didn't really think much but I understand the weather part anyway (for winter anyways).

phoenix is much larger and it has no CSA either.

San Antonio is also another large one with No CSA.

Miami has no CSA either

Well for a CSA, there has to be another metro area next to one. The Jacksonville MSA is isolated around the immediate area.

Even with all the problems Detroit has it still beats all thos cities IMO. But im not sure where I would rather live JAX or Detroit.

Also lets not forget Jacksonville is the largest city but not the largest Metro in Florida there are three larger then JAX metro.

Actually birmingham and jacksonville are more comparable to michigan's 2nd largest city grand rapids which has a csa of 1.3 mil.

oh ok thanks where the "combined" comes from. I just know it goes out further than the MSA.
