Live in Montgomery however my favorite U.S. suburb is Scarsdale so Westchester. Rye, Scarsdale, etc in Westchester are with Greenwich, Darien, etc the most desirable suburbs in the U.S.

White Plains more or less compares favorably with Bethesda on downtown/office district

Rich passed the wildest imaginations, home to some of the most elite people in the world and in the NY area only behind Fairfield County, Connecticut. Montgomery is wealthy and desirable but NY's best suburbs are in another league

All premier NY burbs in NY, CT, NJ are in a league higher than premier DC burbs in NoVA and Maryland. Westchester, Fairfield, Bergen, Hudson, Suffolk, Nassau are the finest burbs in the U.S. IMO. Not an even comparison considering the power, wealth, glamour of NY
