I'm surprised Vegas ranked lower than I expected. I could've always imagined it being in the top 3. Especially for Hotel and restaurants.

Well, at the moment they're overbuilt. Between the recession, a pretty big reduction in flights and all the new rooms that have come online, this could possibly be the most affordable time in recent history to visit.

What sucks is that I only wanted to visit Las Vegas after I turn 21 next year! Not much to do if you're under 21!! Hopefully this golden period lasts!
Ya for sure...I've heard it's actually very cheap to get to Vegas (flight & hotel), but it's very expensive once you hit the tables. Vegas is also the emptiest metro in the country right now...I believe it's followed by Phoenix?

What specifically do you mean by emptiest? Housing? Hotel rooms? Do you have stats to back that up?
Wooooot Miami made top 5! New York is number 1! woooot! Is that really a good thing though? Lol. I mean, talk about empty pockets.
