And higher education in Philly is leagues ahead of Atlanta? You sure about that?
Yes. I consider Atlanta to be in the good-very good category for this, whereas Philadelphia is elite.

Grapico did a great job of explaining:

Remember, UPenn is Ivy League.
There is also Temple, LaSalle, Drexel, St Josephs, Curtis Institute, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Swarthmore, Widener, Villanova, Rutgers-Camden. You also have access right there to Princeton in Mercer County.
Serious institutions. For depth and breadth, Philadelphia is 2nd only to Boston or NYC IMO in Higher Ed.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia does a nice sum up on Dave & Buster's.

I simply listed a lot of things that people like to partake in. Instead of saying, "wow, that's a lot of stuff. I recant", you simply try to nitpick over a few of the nearly fifty items that I listed. Really?

Does Philadelphia have such a list, if that's what you want to do?

Do you have a comparable aquarium?

Do you have things such as the World of Coke, legoland, a natural history museum and the recreational opportunities that Atlanta has right within the metro area?

Please.

Atlanta has more to do within its metro area, in terms of entertainment, than Philadelphia offers.

I was only focusing on the immediate Philly metro area though and I do believe Ga Tech and Emory are just as good as any Philadelphia university outside of UPenn. But I will concede that Philly has more elite universities.

I'm also only focusing on the immediate Philly Metro area though, and I left several significant colleges out of that list. The only one I mentioned out of it was Princeton, but Philadelphia still handily beats Atlanta. You are correct that Gtech and Emory can measure up to many Philadlephia universities outside UPenn in the Research granting universities, that is where the depth (in numbers of institutions) and breadth (of specialized institutions) comes in as there are so many of these around Philadelphia.

While this probably doesnt even warrant a reply, I prefer the Atlanta Aquarium, though the NJ State Aquarium isnt bad just not as good.

Does Atlanta have an art museum, orchestra, opera, dance company, historical sites comparable to Phildelphia

No world of Coke though

Here are few things though that are offered

Longwood Gardens (Many consider to be the best Gardens in America)
Philadelphia Museum of Art (Most rate among the top 5 in America)
Rodin Museum
Barnes Foundation (Largest collection of French Impressionist Art outside of France)
Please Touch Museum - One of the best childrens Museums in America
Independence Mall
Liberty Bell
Independance Hall
Valley Forge
Crayola Crown Land
Franklin Institue
NJ State Aquarium
Anthropology Museum
Mutter Museum
National Constitution Center
Under Construction National Revolutionary War Museum
African American History Museum
Jewish History Museum
And am only beggining to tap the surface

Was this a serious question?

Oh yeah there are 3 or 4 D&Bs if you would like

Based on that list, it seriously looks like Atlanta has more to offer the typical person in terms of fun and entertainment.

Well if you want amusement parks we got em (Dorney, Hershey, Six Flags, Wahatever the other one is in S Jersey), casinos we got em, skiing we got it, boating, surfing, nature, history

Shopping, the largest mall in the US

Both offer a lot, overall the diversity in Philly is likely better but I honestly see almost no way one can suggest Atlanta would have more in this regard. Are you sure you have actually been here and experienced the area.

You realize there is skiing, the Chesepeake, Mountains, a 1.1 million acrea National Forrest, 5 National Historic Parks, and the beach all in the metro, expand by a few miles and you have the whole Jersey Shore in addition

Honestly I like and enjoy the area but some of these assertions seem odd
