South Beach is nice and all, but unless you're hunting for some overpriced spot with a bunch of plastic bimbos and thirsty grown men in rented Bentleys hoping to pass off as or get noticed by celebrities, the only thing it gets a nod for from me is the late last calls. But honestly, I'm not looking to be out drinking past 2AM anyway.
South Beach is where people who are not in the know hang out. The young professional scene is centered more around the rooftop scene in Downtown/Brickell nowadays.

Exactly. American Social and other places along the Miami river host that scene.

i've never been to new orleans... but i doubt austin can hold a candle to new orleans night life. i'd say if you were including miami... it would certainly be new orleans and miami all the way. and then austin. but then again... i dunno, people seem high up on atlanta and even some would suggest houston or dallas.
Its so apparent when people exclude Atlanta because they usually just dont know. This is one of those times.

LOL
You are really delusional.Nashville get around 13-15million a year.Savannah GA gets the same.
Atlanta gets over 50 million.
I would'nt be surprised if Nashville was still behind Jacksonville

I agree, especially, with regards to nightclubs. Seriously. Sizeable cover charge, some doorman getting off on that little bit of power he gets to wield, vastly overpriced drinks and in many cases very generic music from the "DJ".

Bump.

I am going to be graduating in a few years and thinking about where to move. I see somebody above put San Antonio in the same tier as Memphis and Tampa and a tier above Charlotte. Is this really true? What are the some of the most fun places to live for people 25-30? Preferably as close to Texas as possible.
