I'm pretty sure that Portland metro gained residents while its unemployment rate dropped. Same with Denver. That's an impressive feat.

What other metros fit that criteria? Pittsburgh?

I have seen so many contradictory stories and reports on unemployment that I don't know what to believe anymore. For Raleigh, I hear that the rate is getting lower but this shows it getting higher. Just last week, I saw two different reports on the same day that showed a pecentage point variance of .7 for Raleigh. Alas, neither of these reported rates match what is posted here.
For Miami, I hear it's getting higher (or staying high) yet this shows it getting lower.

Raleigh's adding people like wildfire. I wonder if that's why I can never find two sources of matcing unemployment numbers?
