Which U.S. states are most despised?

By regions: I would have to nominate New Jersey, Connecticut, New York for the Northeast, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia, Texas (if you consider it Southern) for the South, California, Texas (if you consider it western) for the West, and Indiana and Missouri for the Midwest.

Um, how do you lump Texas in with California? Just because of a few ranches out in West Texas? Texas has more in common with the South than any other region. Just thought I'd clear that up!

Anyway, wow, this is a loaded question. I think every state has its good and bad points. I wouldn't think any one of our beloved states in the union would be considered "hated". Where do you live? Do you like your state?

I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. No I do not like my state, and as far as not thinking any one of our states could possibly be hated, then I have this to say: Bite it!

Why don't you like your state??
And by the way no reason to be rude to previous poster...they were posing a question and stating an opinion in a very friendly manner

Hm, well, you obviously didn't start this thread for some thoughtful discussions and observations, Mr. Maturity. It was a mistake for me to even comment here. So long.

LOL!!! I went thru the turnpike and that's all that matters.

Seriously I'm sure New Joysey has some nice sections (the sections farthest away from NYC) but other than that, it's still looked down upon quite a bit.
