I'm undecided on Toronto's tallest, the CN tower. I sort of like it, but really don't like it either. Still North America's tallest building.

I think solo it stands nicely but doesn't group well with the rest of the Toronto skyline.

I know this is geared more towards tallest buildings in the US and I see Canada as well, but I personally like most of the buildings built in both countries... They're very well planned and fit pretty nice with their skylines. I do dislike some US skylines, especially factoring in the population of their cities but thats another thread. If this thread was towards tallest buildings I like and dislike no matter what country then I have a laundry list of buildings that look awful in numerous other countries. Theres too many to name, but one for example I dislike is the Swiss Re Building in London... It looks like an old egg... What kind of building is that????? However, thats not even the worst Ive seen....
Best:
Empire State Building and (Freedom Tower): New York
Comcast Center: Philadelphia
Even though it isn't the tallest: Wells Fargo Center in Minneapolis
Key Tower: Cleveland
Bank of America Tower: Charlotte
Wells Fargo, Key Tower, and Bank of America Tower were designed by my favorite Cesear Pelli
Worst:
US Steel Tower: Pittsburgh
Ren Center: Detroit
JP Morgan Tower: Houston
One Shell: New Orleans
