Lord High Representative of New Jersey, this thread is not just about NYC and Philly. Its about the states of Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey as compared to the state of California.

Gotta say, I find this downright hilarious coming from someone whose got over 18,000 posts on this messageboard mostly bragging/defending Cali/LA/SF. You must have some serious insecurity issues to try that hard to change what others think of your state.

But California is better than New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New England all put together...
AND more diverse.
Cali wins hands down

Oh let me count the ways in which you STILL fall short. And we're not even the biggest. Not even close. Just the Best!
And so you east-coasties don't get it twisted, an east-coaster started this thread. And I can go find a dozen or more iterations of this (CA vs. X# of Bullsh*t states) started by you guys if you like.
Cali is NOT having this conversation! Period.

LOL at "Voltron" together...
I SO completely agree with this! This question, this thread is ridiculous...
I'm not even "from" Cali and I agree.

I'd rather live in SD than Philly, and I'd have to do some soul searching to take it over NYC. I love the climate, people, and pace of life in SD way more than NYC, but NYC has more business opportunities. I'd probably, ultimately, take NYC as a springboard to get to where I want to be with the intention of moving back here.

lol. You say oh yes it is as if Philly is Detroit. I personally think Philadelphia is the better city. San Francisco is the boring mini west coast version of New York. Minus the natural beauty.

Minus the natural beauty?
Not even going to bother tackling that one.

Okay, the state of Pennsylvania & the state of New York can speak for themselves. Does that work better for you?
