Mostly I'm trying to think of parks that stand out, and cities with a lot of picturesque green public areas. There are some cities I haven't visited much though that might do better... Miami and Boston are big question marks that come to mind.

Pretty solid list except for Austin, Denver, and Atlanta, I would replace them with Boston, Philly, and Kansas City.

I agree. Philly and Boston should be on a top 10. Actually both could probably make the top 5. What about Griffith Park in LA. Do you think they make the top 10?
I believe New York, San Francisco and Minneapolis are the highest in terms of percentage of city land that is park space. All three are around 15%. Minneapolis has a chain of lakes running through the heart of the city , nearly all of it is park. A lot of people have beaches or lakeshore within walking distance of their houses or apartments which is cool.
Let me say this AGAIN. The thread is about systems as a whole, not one park. Understand?
Okay--then besides Cincinnati's Fountain Square, let's add Washington Park, Smale Riverfront Park, Sawyer Point, Yeatman's Cove, Bicentennial Commons, Eden Park, Mt. Storm/Mt. Echo/Bellevue/Fairview/Jackson Parks, and, just across the river in NKY, Devou and Taylor Parks. All of these are the city'score parks, either in or overlooking the downtown. Omitted are dozens of nearby other parks within the city's inner-ring suburbs.
Downtown Pittsburgh has Market Square, Mellon Square, BNY Mellon Green, Point Stat Park, PPG Plaza and the riverfront park system all withing a few blocks. City wide there many great urban green spaces.
