I think DonJuan, and I'll use capital letters when referring to his persona because he seems to be learning a lot faster than you think, was answering to a flippant comment from steve-o comparing monetary output. Gross metropolitan product ( gross domestic product ) describes the output of a metropolitan area's final assessment of goods and services manufactured and provided anually. Los Angeles is the nation's largest manufacturing center, no fake lazy asses there! Business/financial is important, but there are also other criteria such as manufacturing and trade. Who wants to talk about international trade, actual trade. World trade centers around the country, but how do your shipping schedules stack up? Would you like to compare your import/export activity San Francisco? New York? Chicago? Thought so! A ton of lazy L. A. *******s down in the port complex! Fake, too. By the way, downtown, when you use exclamation points in your text, you aint mumbling, babycakes! How old might you be? Yeah, Los Angeles will continue to set the trends and lead the way, representing the country and entertaining an othewise clueless world.

Interrupted at work. Anyone who knows the area knows that Westwood and Brentwood, as well as Hollywood, are districts of Los Angeles. You're still obsessed! With misinformation. Please.

First of all, bone, if you knew anything about San Francisco, you wouldn't referr to it as SF. The same goes for 'Frisco'! They don't take kindly to it, and without Hollywood, L. A. (not LA, which stands for Louisiana) would be nothing? Same for San Francisco being nothing without the Golden Gate, New York being nothing without Wall Street, Chicago being nothing without...testing..testing.... we seem to have lost any contact with relevance to this post.....testing....nothing comes to mind.....testing.....nope, nothing. Chicago merchantile exchange? Loop? Elevated? Sears Tower? Lake Shore Drive? Deep dish pizza.....testing.....nope. Nothing relevant enough....Cubbies....Harry Carey.....liked him on WGN......WGN? Nope......Michael Jordan....Bulls.....Bears.....Blues Brothers....Brats....Wind....Oprah....Miracle Mile.... Nothing really defines Chicago outright. Am I getting my threads mixed up? Anyway, the world without L. A.'s Hollywood would be a scary boring place indeed!

Chicago has plenty to do. That's the thing about Angelenos... They are closed-minded. If it ain't LA, it ain't ****. If it ain't casinos, it ain't ****. If it ain't celebrity-infested, it ain't ****. You have a terrible mindset.

I can't stand school, but I'm toughing it out. You have to deal with it. In 20 years, you'll be glad you went to school and tried.

You have no idea what my neighborhood is like. Maybe it's a ****hole, maybe it's not.

I now understand why you said your school has the lowest test scores in the nation.

Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen!

These people need to put down their Entertainment magazines and see the REAL WORLD. And L.A. folks, Im not talking about the MTV show.

And if you ask me, the Sears Tower is just as well known as the Golden Gate Bridge.
