not voting b/c i've never been to minneapolis, but i have met west coasters who claim its the hippest city over there

as far as straight out raging, i can't see it beating the ATL

Minneapolis is in the Midwest aka flyover country, not on the West Coast.

Pretty substantial distances apart like say 1,600-1,700 miles.

Atlanta wins.

Minneapolis and St. Paul are very tame due to restrictive drinking laws and they can't compete in terms of nightlife with many cities due to the MN's "progressive" laws ().

What is the point you are trying to make? The distance between the West Coast and Minneapolis has no bearing on this...again, ??
