How do you figure? (Weather maybe/I'm not into hot weather. But location, variety, etc. LA's location on the west is just as good as NYC's on the east)

A dirty ass restaurant that couldn't pass a US Health Department exam if their life depended on it.

In Chicago, you can get a nice 1 bedroom apartment in The Loop for $1,000 a month within walking distance from work, world-class cuisine, bars, clubs, public transportation.
LMAO @ 1 BED ROOM APPARTMENT IN "THE LOOP"

L.A is located in the Fast Growing West, and the City also faces the Growing Economies of Asia...Mexico is also just to the South, which makes it a very important trading partner.

Top Visited Destinations are also closer to L.A,such as San Francisco,Las Vegas,San Diego and a few National Parks are also nearby....Hawaii is just a few hours by plane, and Mexico is also nearby.

L.A does offer a Greater Variety than NYC.....L.A has Shopping,Dining,Clubs,Bars,Entertainment,Attractio ns,Special Events,Outdoor Activities,Mountains,Deserts,Beaches,Valleys,Micro-climates.

No, Donnie. The quality of life in LA is the worst among 25 major cities according to the survey, but its air pollution and traffic congestion are much better. LA ranks #1 in both categories

The most polluted US cities in 2007

1 Los Angeles (CA)

2 Bakersfiled (CA)

3 Visalia-Porterville (CA)

4 Fresno (CA)

City Mayors: The most polluted US cities

Most Congested cities

Hefner moved to LA to play with the fake boobs.

Playboy headquarters is still in Chicago. This is the place where they can find smart people to run the business.

Donnie, smart people and the great minds of this country stay away from LA . Keep that in mind.

QUOTE=donjuan demarco;1610435]still has more excitement and energy than chicago!! people from all over the world is still to LA, while people are fleeing chicago. You would think chicago would see a increase in population due to the lower cost of living than the other major cities. lol like i once said oprah who can live anywhere she wants works in chicago but her real home is in santa barbara. Kanye west is from chicago and him and his wife left and is now living in LA. Hue Hefner another chicagoan makes millions and flee chicago to live in LA where he loves so much. facts is facts. when you get rich you come to LA.[/quote]

hey i agree with that. LA is the car capital so you know the streets are going to be congested. The Air is foggy also but its not as bad as people are making it. we just love our cars out here thats all and LA is so spread out your going to have to own a car. Cars are just our lifestyle out here bcuz the east was founded way b4 the west was founded. we dont want to get off of work at 2:00 am in the freezing cold and wait at a subway station like they do on the east coast. we would rather jump in our cars, turn the heater on and the radio and just drive to whateva location we want to be at. but LA is know changing bcuz they want LA to be a more tourist friendly city and help fight against the air pollution.

Good. Tell your friends and family members to buy hybrid cars. Also, take public transportation if you can. LA will become a better place to live if more and more people are aware of this problem.

You know, Florida/DR/Bahamas and the Virg Isl. are also a few hours away. Canada borders to the north.

Mountains, beaches, etc. are great. 'deserts'
But NYC is all about nightlife, clubs, especially entertainment, etc. The financial capital of the US wouldn't be right without it.

Actually it's because of those corrupt cops who clubbed him during the 1968 Democratic Convention. Did Mayor Daley the I have a case of rabies; he was foaming at the mouth when he said either f**ker or faker?

Sorry, Houston has claimed that. Mexico City is very nice though.

I've always wanted to experience a Chicago winter. Can't wait.

Oh yeah how high are the sales taxes in C(r)ook County? Last I heard that they are 9% going to increase to 10%. Now I'm hearing that they are going to raise them to 11%. That's making shopping on Macy's on State Street much harder. (No F**k Macy's please. There is racism to fight on the South Side and all over Chicagoland. Go protest that instead of a stupid name change.)

L.A. County and Houston's sales tax rate are ironically 8.25%.
