Californians do NOT start these kinds of threads! Gotta admit, it's pretty entertaining though.
I started this thread because I wanted to learn more about and compare the cities in these regions.

I'm not a native of either region. Consider me to be an impartial outsider. :-)

This is correct. For those who are questioning the policy, it's all explained here (which every city vs. city poster is expected to read):

Chicago > Los Angeles > Toronto > Rest

The beauty of the great lakes is very underrated but its okay I guess. The fewer tourists the better.

Again, city data forums focus on one stupid aspect of an entire thread, the thread gets derailed, and people try and make arguments about it. Pretty typical.
And you would be the prime perpetrator of said derailment, since you kept responding to the posts.

The fighting ends here. If you don't agree with what I or anyone else has to say, either agree to disagree or don't respond at all. It's that simple.

Great snaps. I mentioned this before in the other NYC Chicago vs LA SF thread that I like underrated places. I would love to see the nature in the great lakes region. I'm originally from Albany and I have a deep appreciation for the great lakes and upper northeast but its been a very long time since I lived back east.
