San Diego currently has 114 highrises, u/c 10, planned 25
the bad thing is that it won't have a building surpassing the 500 ft. mark because of the stupid hight restrictions but it will make downtown more dense in the coming years

I'm from Baltimore City Maryland an hopes to become an architect and when that happens the home of the Star Spangled Banner skyline and city will be more noticible than it is now trust me.

Ummm actually TOKYO is the largest city in the world and has to many skyscrapers imo... its actually way to big. Hong Kong is 2nd and New York is 3rd... and with that new Borj Dubai building being finished in Dubai, the U.S is soon to lose this skyscraper battle IMO.

Calgary with the current proposals and buildings under construction:

Foster + Partner's "Bow" building far left, with Calatrava's newly proposed pedestrian bridge in front.

The big TV screen building is Jean Nouvel's proposal for a new music centre in Calgary.

Every current proposal and redevelopment in the planning books.

SF's skyline would look awesome if all those buildings get built. It would give it a "Manhattan" look to it.

That would be cool is they merged the skylines of Downtown LA and Century City, like if Hollywood expanded their skyline.
