Have to think we give Vegas a run for its money... I know of only one other city (Ormond Beach, FL) that's not based on casinos that allows 24-hour alcohol service, 24/7/365. I can walk to the other end of my block and be in a 24-hour bar, and I live 3 miles or so from Bourbon-in other words, off the beaten path by quite a bit.
I don't think so. Vegas is in a league of its own.
The flashy lights, the strip clubs, the women, the drugs, the booze, the casino's...all exclusive to Vegas.
Bangkok is the only other city I know than is on Vegas' level for hedonism.

If you're talking about Vegas as a hedonistic destination, then yes, it definitely wins that category. But other cities like San Francisco and New Orleans are much more hedonistic for locals.
That's an interesting point. Like you said, Las Vegas (well, mainly just one long street) is a place that outsiders flock to in order to get that experience. But on a day to day basis, the actual locals of the kinds of places you mentioned are living their lives surrounded by this experience.
