What an arrogant comment to make. They are plenty of die-hard 76ers fans in the area including myself. I'm not going to bash NY sports fans but I will say that it's a lot easier to hop on the bandwagon when you live in a city with 2 teams in every pro sports league.

Clearly.

Philly NBA attendance.

30th in 2011.
29th in 2010.
24th in 2009.
23rd in 2008.
25th in 2007.
23rd in 2006.

Oh, so does that mean theyre diehards now?

18th place. Man. For a city as sports-crazed as Philly?

You dont get this in Boston or Chicago.

Last time I check the Nets(a team in the New York Market) was 29th in attendance last season.

Going by the logic wouldn't that make people in the New York area look like a bad sports-crazed market?

Since when does New York take credit for a former New Jersey team?

You expect New Yorkers to go to New Jersey to watch a New Jersey team?

Looks like a lameduck season to me, since they moved to Brooklyn.

You dont get this in Boston or Chicago.
And their teams also win championships more often than Philadelphia sports teams do. When you compare all the teams from their respective cities, Boston and Chicago haven't been tested the way Philadelphia sports fans have been.
