Cant take this poll seriously without Miami as an option since it is the 3rd largest skyline in the US.
My 1,2,3 is NYC, Chicago, Miami then I would put in Seattle.

While Buckhead is interesting as a suburban/fringe enclave a better comparator might be Tysons Corner (ok that was low, my father who worked there for years always described Tyson as all the hassle of NYC with non of the ambviance) probably the potomac areas of NOVA that border DC a better example/comparator for buckhead, not in height though.

I think comparing Atlanta at any level with the philly skyline are difficult, just developed so differently

Personally I like the Philly skyline over any in Atlanta or all combined, but must say I really enjoy some of the individual buildings in Atlanta immensly.

I also find the multiple choice interesting, it seems that when cities go head to head some do better than in a broader listing, not sure what to make of it but this is at least intelectually interesting.

Example to me is Seattle (a great skyline) rises more in this forum than head to head, curious if anyone has thoughts or perspective on this

BTW, I am a homer I voted Philly

While Miami should've been included in the poll; I doubt it would've won. I voted Houston (back when I was more biased), but honestly I feel Philly has the 3rd best skyline. I'm not a fan of Miami's skyline at all, but it's one of my tops for best nighttime skylines. Seattle is given too much credit and without it's backdrop; I doubt it would be recieving this much hype.

I think Seattle winning was appropriate. It's one of the best in the world.

Why isn't Miami on the list? I'm not saying it would've won, but it's better then at LEAST 4 of the cities that DID make this list. Weird.

having seen it up close many times, miami should definitely be in the running for 3rd best...granted, its more of a sunny caribbean coastal condo skyline but still impressive

Exactly. I agree with you. No one is saying it's the best, but for as big as it is, it should've made the list.
