How many cities actually worry about passing the next city in population? Oh Houston always acting like a second class city.

You seem defensive, especially considering that the poster who started this isn't from Houston...

In a way SF is currently the 3rd city and arguably the 2nd city of this country.

SF should just take the crown from NYC. That way we can settle this SF vs. XYZ city debate once and for all.

I can't believe you didn't just say Toronto has taken the crown it from Chicago already. Having overtaken Chicago city proper in population in 2013. Being in reality a Torontokid. who really boast for Toronto. Guess you see this is ONLY a US thing? Unless it is specifically, Toronto vs.......

I see the nation's capital up there no matter what, so NY and DC is my 1 and 2. LA is definitely in the top 3.

So NY, DC, LA, then the rest.

Chicago, Houston, or SF are not in my top 3.

It's funny how people like to say Houston isn't coastal when people want to dump on it for not being close to beaches but as soon as you can use it to say it will be destroyed by a hurricane you act like Downtown Houston sits right there on the beach.
