Yeahhh my bad on that one, I was thinking they were 7-9 instead of 9-7 going into the playoffs. They were a wild card team. Still though- that's a pretty underwhelming record for any team going to the Superbowl & winning it. Seriously, the Patriots dynasty ended coincidentally at the revelation of Spygate. You want to call that a coincidence- I want to call that cheaters never win.

Lol 'ol faithful. Your points are automatically deemed invalid when you pull this one out. This is a fairytale that ESPN has pushed on the rest of the country to characterize Philadelphia sports fans since ESPN has a New York/Boston bias.

This happened in the 1960's at the final game of the year of an awful season for the Eagles. The team was losing miserably and tried to sell the fans on the fact that "Hey Santa's gonna come out at halftime." Well Santa was a no show so they picked a 20 year old drunk kid out of the stands dressed up as Santa pulled him down and told him to walk around. The first section he walked by were his friends and they started pelting him with snowballs and then everyone else joined in. The guy later said it was one of the BEST moments of his life. See not really that bad when you think about.

NYC, Boston and Philadelphia all have very intense, passionate fanbases that love to rag on each other. Since ESPN is located in Bristol, CT (inbetween NYC and Boston) they have a HUGE NYC/Boston bias so they bash Philadelphia. ESPN has a large part to due with the overall negative image of Philadelphia fans. If ESPN said that Philadelphia fans threw a feather at a player in 1915 people would still probably use that to this day.

Lastly, if I were trying to make a case for a good fan base I would not be talking about my teams winning history. That has nothing to do with being a good fan. Hardships build character. I have more respect for a diehard Browns fans then a diehard Patriots fan because its harder to be a Browns fan.

You people are dumb, if the Pats cheating was actually a big deal, Belicheick would have been suspended.
This is why I don't go to Philly anymore

All of this was instigated/trolled by a Boston poster in the first place.
