Fine. I thought my numbers did add some perspective since we were already on that topic.
They did, and trust me I know it's tempting to answer, but unfortunately this poster does not want to engage. He only wants SF to "win," and for some reason wealth is all that matters to him.
How do you guys let him turn this into a wealth thread each and every time? That has been the sole topic of discussion for the past four days.
Amen brother! Even if selective measures of SF's wealth (or the Bay Area's wealth, depending upon which set of data is most convenient) exceeds that of NYC's wealth, who really cares and what difference does it make? Unless we are talking about my wealth and where it most affords me the best QOL, this sideshow has nothing to do with how I personally gauge any given city. So here's a question: Have any of you been to Paris? Did you enjoy it? Was it because of the number of billionaires who lived there or the median income of immigrants? Or was it because of the ambience and beauty of the city, the amazing world class museums and the great culinary scene? Just saying'.
Maybe any debate that involves SF repeatedly and predictably reverts to this tired topic of wealth sliced and diced 15 ways because this poster has nothing else of significance to share?
BTW - love the video on the High Line a page or two back. What a phenomical success for NYC! We try to take a stroll on each visit to Manhattan.
