So I guess judging an entire cosmopolitan city's style based on what the most ratchet Section 8 ghetto natives wear is a measure of the whole city's style.
I also suppose that all of those people who get paid for a living to talk about fashion all day are also dead wrong because some random dude on C-D with a bruised ego said so.
DC may not be New York. But DC is fashionable in its own right whether you admit it or not. Until you pull up legitimate articles saying people in DC dress like they are from Alabama, then you have no real argument. Baltimore often makes the worst dressed cities list for a reason.
Saying the entire city of DC can't dress makes you a hater, buddy. Sorry. Good ol' fashion East Coast out-of-towner hate. DC is not a fashion capital either, but saying Philly dresses better is a heavily biased subjective lie.
And not everyone thinks Philly is some fashion capital either, because its NOT. That title in America goes to NYC and NYC alone. Philly has many well-dressed people. But it is no fashion mecca like you are trying to imply.
Hey, I really don't want a fight. I promise. I actually agree with some of your points. However, the list you posted has Baltimore at #3 , DC at #14 and Philly at #19. So if we were going off of that silly list, that would make Philly the most fashionable out of the 3. No? or am I missing the point? again Im am NOT looking for a fight.

Also, on your "list" of worst dressed cities. Philadelphia was 19th D.C. came in a 14th worst dressed and Baltimore came in at 3rd worst dressed.

How are Bowie, Mitchellville, Accokeek and Upper Marlboro "Section 8" and "ratchet?" You see the same styles out there.

Who said Philly was a "fashion mecca?" I said we are trend setters, which is true, and DC is not. I said that we have fashion sense and DC does not. That's largely true. Please take it from someone who's lived in both cities.

Wow! You love our style. Stop playing. DC does it's own thing. Foams, NB, BOSS, HH, etc...... Philly and style is an oxymoron. Can't get over the fact that Philly is filled with fat dudes with beards wearing capri's listening to Baltimore club music. It's a blower. LOL

I agree that today, DC's soul music is a bit lacking. But c'mon now. DC helped write the Bible when it comes to R&B music.

Cassidy sounds country? lol. I think you're confusing boy with "Bull" Bull is something Philly people interject ALL THE TIME, its their slang. "Me and my one bull" or "He's a young bull" I think even Bajan has used it in this very thread lol. But still that's not the same thing as saying boy. boy..is boy.
Now..with the Maryland/DC accent..sounds quite southern. And this video to me is showing of that. "Muurrlin" in the house!
With having lived in Philly for years, going to Baltimore quite often (I'll be down there next month), and meeting people from DC..I can say one can definitely spot someone from Philly over someone from Maryland/DC. Philly has a clear and distinct northeastern accent. Whereas DC and Baltimore (to a lesser extent but still evident) has a southern influence.
