Shopping:

Parks:

New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and Seattle immediately come to mind. All have great or better touristy things to see and do. Philadelphia would rank very highly as well.

Thank you for all the comments so far, but I was hoping that we can kind of get away from the obvious contenders. That may be my fault though, seeing as how my title doesn't really describe that. In other words, What are some cities that have good downtowns for tourist aside from the major contenders?

Mainly NYC, Chicago, SF, Seattle, and Boston. Not saying they shouldn't be mentioned, but I'd like to see some other places be brought up too in the thread.
