Yeah okay thanks all. Looks like I won't leave new England maybe ct but not NE
You basically can't go wrong in any of the areas like NYC, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Jose...even Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia. NYC is going to almost always have more of everything because it's by far the largest city in the US. The other places though for their size are still very good. Percentage wise, the bay area (San Fran and San Jose) actually has a higher percentage Indian than NYC area.
Mar so stay in the bigger cities is what your saying and again thanks
A lot of the big cities (not all) will have a decent Indian population. NYC is obviously the top choice for it...far and away. I am more familiar with Chicago for this topic, but know that NYC's Indian population crushes anything else in the US. Chicago has the 2nd most at 175,000.
If you want to stay in the NE, then move to NYC if you can for sure. The point I was trying to make was that it's not the only place where a lot of Indians live in the US *but* it is certainly where the most live (NYC).
Sizable cities to stay away from? Phoenix, Denver, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Portland, St. Louis, Raleigh, San Diego, Minneapolis, Miami, Seattle, Detroit, Boston. Little known but true, but Philadelphia actually has more Indians than Boston.
Just wondering why to stay away from Boston, Miami, and settle?
Also if someone has a chart with percentage of the total pop they are make up per city?

I said that because they dont have a terribly high indian population there if you want to be close to a ton of other indians. And yeah someone posted a link to a wikipedia article with the numbers per metro area
