For example you could say Seattle vs. Mobile

PNW rains constantly in the winter but it's drizzle throughout. Southeast particularly, it's rains so freaking hard when it does come down, practically every day but then it'll clear up. What's more annoying?

The Mediterranean climate of the Pacific Northwest is very dry in the summer, though. It get so bone dry the grass turns brown and dies.

The afternoon thunderstorms will save your life here in the south. Especially when you work outside like I do. We need them, and don't mind them.

You work outside during thunderstorms? That sounds like a terrible idea.

I much prefer the summer thunderstorms in the South, as long as I'm safely indoors.

I work on Lake Murray, so even if I don't get the rain, I usually get the front. If I get the rain, I get to go home early.

Between Seattle and Mobile the latter would definitely be worse. It receives nearly twice as much rainfall per year which means a lot of flooding and inundated roads/infrastructure. Rains so hard that you have to stop whatever you're doing outside.

Seattle has more days with precipitation but light rain doesn't stop much, keeps things green and I appreciate the lack of extra sunshine.
