So the title Pretty much sums it up. Which city could you most see a working professional live comfortably without a car(in the downtown/core metro of course), and enjoy a robust, healthy dating life/weekend nightlife? What leads you to your conclusion?
Hopefully we'll get some responses from folks who have visited/lived in all three at one time or another.
Cincinnati...spelled with just one t. Just figured someone would correct you eventually...
Anyway, I actually can't tell you much else. I have visited all three but for no more than a couple days. All left a favorable impression and ever since my visit to Cleveland (six years ago) I've wanted to return someday to check it out more thoroughly.
So I'm really interested to hear what knowledgeable people have to say.
I haven't experienced much nightlife in either Cincy or Milwaukee to give an accurate assessment. My most memorable visit to Milwaukee had the nightlife feeling a little spread out, but still fun...but I admit I was drunk many of the nights...
Cleveland's nightlife tends to be in more pockets: W.6th, W.25th, E.4th/Casino, Tremont, Lakewood, Coventry, etc. The Flats have been on the up and up again too.
You mentioned professional and without a car in the same sentence, but New York City was not the location.
I don't if it is more important to fix that conflict, or to add some contenders to your list of cities. If this was basketball, you'd have put together a line up resembling Sacremento, Detroit, and well.. Cleveland. They aren't the worst options, but it's not exactly what most people are looking for.

You can live in all three cities listed car-free. I personally lived in Cleveland in the Little Italy area for a good 5 years without a car, until my job required to drive in and out of state.
All three listed are above Sacramento and Detroit in this category as well btw.
I know a lot of people without cars in Milwaukee, but my experience with the other cities is a weekend (Cincy) and a couple visits (Cleveland), so I can't do a reliable comparison.
Cleveland definitely seems to be pulling away from the pack re walkability, but that's only half of this thread's equation.
Could Cinci or Mil balance out the comparison with an edge over Cleveland in nightlife/strappy-heeled women about?
