Yeah, I suppose it is pretty convenient. But they're what, 2 hours away or more? You can't see either from Charlotte.

They don't figure into Charlotte's scenery, but they are assets in that the city is centrally located between both features.

That's true. But I think SLC is better for recreational opportunities like mountains & water

I'd agree. But Charlotte does have three lakes bordering it so that counts for something.
