I didn't vote. It's too tough to call, because they are both great cities in their own right.

wow this is a tough one. Both are very great cities. Great Skylines. I'll give Seattle the hometown nod,...but you could go either way with this one. Both very vibrant cities.

I don't like vs threads and didn't vote either. I don't think I could compare them and don't really have that much a preference over all. For me personally, well, I'm still living in Chicago , but I could easily see myself enjoying Seattle quite a bit (I've been there 2 times).

It is a very tough call both have very similar charicteristics. Though as far as activities around the area I think that seattle nearly edges out chicago

Yeah. Apples and oranges. I like both.

Out of curiosity, what kinds of activities are you referring to?

I would imagine outdoor ones. Seattle is great for those who are real lovers of the outdoors. I've spoken with a few transplants who joke that Chicago is a real 'indoors kind of city'.

Well Im not as savy about chicago as I would like to be but I do have many friends in washington. For one the olympic mountains are just a short trip away as is BC up in canada. I would say puget sound as well but then again chicago has lake michigan.

Yeah, that's what I figured. There are some outdoorsy things to do, but not like some towns. I don't mind as much, myself. If I wanted the outdoors, I wouldn't have moved to the city. I travel a lot, so I don't really even notice the difference.
