Boston, Chicago, NYC, and Philly are the big 4 sports towns IMO. They represent all 4 major sports well (Philly kinda lacks in basketball these days, but they've shown they can be great with that in the past). The cream of the crop. There are other solid sports cities such as Dallas, SF, and Pittsburgh, but I don't put them on nearly the same level as those first 4 because sports culture is bigger in those 4 cities.
You provided stats on ONE YEAR of Phillies attendance and tried to use that as a historical measuring stick.
And aside from mentioning the Warriors I don't see any facts you brought up about old Philly teams in the Bay Area.
You tried to claim Philly's teams being bad isn't as common as with the Bay Area sports teams, which is total BS:
When I mention Philly teams, you do understand that not only am I mentioning the Phillies(MLB) but the Eagles(NFL), 76ers(NBA), Flyers(NHL), Union(MLS), etc. against all of the other Bay Area teams.

Yes. MLB, NFL, and MLS teams have had more success in the Bay Area while Philly's NBA and NHL teams have done better overall in comparison.
I've seen decent, passionate fans in all of those cities listed. Easterners paint themselves as the standard-bearers because most leagues and teams began back in that corner of the country, but the likes of Seattle and Denver and Los Angeles would not be worth hating if they had the culture/atmosphere of Atlanta and Miami. No one city or region has a monopoly on sporting enthusiasm.
I do feel that St. Louis Cardinals fans are the best fans in Major League Baseball. However, I also feel that St. Louis Rams fans are some of the worst fans in the NFL. So basically I left St. Louis off of this list because of how I feel about Rams fans.
No love for Blues fans? The team is very well supported through thick and thin despite never winning the cup.
Rams fans have to deal with a whole lot more than poor performance. The complete lack of showing any commitment to the city and basically holding it hostage for a new stadium while letting relocation talks in the NFL act as leverage make the Rams a pretty hard franchise to love and give your hard earned money and heart to; especially, when you take into account they haven't been in the city that long and there are still fans of the old Cardinals team and those who follow the Chiefs.
St. Louis has won "Best Sports Town" in the U.S. from publications before, and it's usually rated very highly on here for sports based on the countless threads like this one, so it is pretty strange to not even see it listed.
As far as the poll goes, I voted Cleveland. The Browns are god awful yet I always see at least 40 guys half naked at each one of their games painted in orange and brown. You have to have great fans to tolerate all of those losing seasons in freezing temperatures.
Ditto for Buffalo.
Rust belt cities are nutso.
