Hi, now I am needing advice on how one would go about finding information on an area/ state before moving there next year, fall.

I am planning to move to one of the new england states, have only been there as a kid, but remember how nice it was. I'm asking if anyone knows how should I go about finding where in New England I should pick to live. From picking the right flights (to check out places/ towns, hopefully job interviews), rental car, where to stay, hotel or hostel...I am self-employed, no degree, was thinking of getting my real estate license..no kids, single, so I can go/ do whatever. Would prefer country areas, no big citys, no Boston Obviously safe towns, no ghettos, etc..If anyone has a plan/ layout of how they would go about a move to a different state, please advise! thank you
