How do these two similarly-sized Gulf Coast cities compare in terms of economy, infrastructure, downtowns, amenities, nightlife, higher ed, recreation, etc.?
Good one, I haven't been to Corpus but it looks nice. Location looks terrible though.
Corpus Christi is just one of those cities you don't hear anything about at all. Being that I've been to and know something about Mobile, I just thought it would be interesting to compare the two.
Maybe I frequent the Texas forum too much but I've seen it on here a few times. Alot more than any city in Louisiana other than NO. Texas is just popular in general right now.

As an outsider, it seems that only DFW, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are popular. I don't see too much about folks trying to move to Corpus Christi, El Paso, McAllen, Amarillo, etc.

I guess I see more. Especially about projects in places like Midland, Lubbock, Corpus, or Tyler/Longview. Anyway, back on topic?
First time I've ever seen Corpus Christi mentioned in a thread here. Outside of the CC forum, that is.
