It has a lot of the same things and then a lot more as well.

The coastline is pretty cool and unique as well IMO.

California has the greatest mix of scenery(from natural palm canyons in the southern deserts to coastal redwoods up north--and a huge mix in between). I'd say actually Southern Utah has the most unique scenery though. Alaska is the most overwhelming and awe-inspiring scenery.

"Best" is subjective though--all of those states have attractive areas.
