To me it felt more like part of the Chciago burbs. MD and NJ can have similarities, though neither have as much new urbanist development

Maybe NJ on the whole but felt more like Akron to me ;0

Odd you ask this question because I find NJ and MD suburbs to be pretty similar from a vegetation standpoint.
