I think Charlotte's is the best and most beautiful of all buildings listed. New York City's is the most interesting and modern design-wise, though.
Albuquerque's tallest building was once associated with Bank of America and carried its name above the top floor for over a decade. As Bank of America grew by mergers and acquisitions it was forced to divest itself of some branches and operations in New Mexico. The majority of those branches and operations were taken over by BOK (the Bank of Oklahoma) and they came to be known as the Bank of Albuquerque. That name is now atop our city's tallest building and Bank of America's New Mexico and West Texas headquarters was relegated to a much less prestigious building:
Jacksonville's is the former HQ of Barnett Bank, and is 617 ft of blue glass and steel designed by Helmut/Jahn. I'm surprised it's not on the list. Arguably, Nationsbank's acquisition of Barnett Bank allowed Nationsbank to merge (acquire really) Bank of America and move HQ to Charlotte (almost went to Chicago for neutrality).
The executive offices in that tower are now open as a cafe for office workers (public) and offer 42nd floor views of the city/skyline.
Atlanta, the tallest, and most recognizable. Embarrassing, because it is literally the worst bank on the planet. Headquarters are going back to NYC anyway..
The most instantly recognizable is Dallas' with its iconic green (now color changing) lights outlining it from top to bottom.
Red & pink this Valentines Day.
