Unless the discussion is specifically about the municipality and that's explicit, usually the discussion centers around the metro area. Now I can understand not bringing up some of the farther flung areas like Marietta and Roswell, but Vinings and downtown Decatur are both ITP and fair game IMO.

Yes, Vinings. It's more linear in orientation but it's historic and pretty walkable. I think the hilly nature of that area somewhat works against it though.

In the context of the previous discussion regarding Miami's walkablity, I think using Miami Beach to booster what urban neighborhoods are available to one who visits the Miami-Dade County, is fair game also.

Guess I wasn't there to get the worst of the traffic but it was bad on Mopac. Austin/San Antonio seem too large to just have one pro team.

The traffic is truly terrible there is no denying that. You could be in traffic ANYWHERE no matter what the day or time is. Also the drivers out here will make you want to fall on something sharp. In truly believe the city could use a pro sports team and that it would be a good thing but most here are against it and belive that UT's sports qualify as pro and nothing else can co-exist with it. And when coming from a bigger metro (like Chicago) its definitely new to be able to end up in smallll towns very quickly outside of the surrounding burbs. It's also hard to find good Italian food, Chinese and Japanese. But honestly we love it here. But its by no means "perfect".

Is Longhorn sports that popular outside of football?
Yeah it did seem pretty small and I'm coming from a MSA about 1 million smaller than Austin.
