That wasn't the point of his post. How in the world do you call Long Island blue collar? Lmao especially when the household income obliterate the incomes of LA county?

Los Angeles County is the principle county in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana metropolitan area, so it's a very urban, densely-populated county and should be compared to NYC counties for the sake of this argument, not suburban counties on Long Island such as Nassau and Suffolk.

Nassau and Suffolk Counties are equivalent to Orange and Ventura Counties, two primarily suburban counties adjacent to Los Angeles County, which are both far wealthier than both Los Angeles County.

Besides, Los Angeles County home to nearly 2.5 million more people than Long Island, it's also more than three times the size of Long Island in terms of land area.

Also, I've been all over Long Island--Valley Stream, Lindhurst, Deer Park, Riverhead, et al.--and a lot of it appears to be very blue collar. Even in the wealthier areas, it seems like most of the wealth is blue-collar wealth vs. white-collar wealth in, say, Westchester, Fairfield, or Bergen Counties. IMO, Long Island kinda seemed like a more densely-populated Rhode Island, which isn't really a good thing.

The title of this thread is Long Island vs southern Florida. Comparing LA to NYC is not the debate. He called Long Island a blue collar s***hole. According to average household incomes that's false.

Plus anyone who drives through Long Island would know that is very white collar except a few spots.

Then again freshflakes has a number of post where he puts up wrong information about NYC. If you don't like a city, putting up wrong Info just makes you look envious. Be a real homer and put up meaningful stats that back up your hate.

Freshflakes might be living in L.A. (according to his location and previous posts). Therefore, I put him in his place and showed that his beloved area is the one that will have those "blue collar s***holes" that he seems to be annoyed with. It's just being critical of posts, which is something that you might not be too good at.

FWIW, there are plenty of very beautiful areas in LA County that are the furthest thing from "blue collar s***holes," but you wouldn't know since you've never been and all.
