Hi history is my passion and it's bugged me that CD posters actually think one history is better than others. I want to be educated on the histories of these northern and southern hamlets. I want to ask which trio do you think has the most interesting history and most interesting historical site seeing? Please start with which empires colonized these cities and go from there!
I enjoy both but being from Philly when in NOLA and Charleston I have been fascinated by their history - almost like a different version of the truth if that makes any sense (not that either is more interesting or even true for that matter)
Looks like I was the first to vote and I voted Northern Trio due to the extent of the historically impact on the country. Besides, being a lifelong "southerner" I guess the other side is more fascinating to me...like kidphilly explained.

Then why are you perpetuating your frustration by creating this thread and poll?!
It's like saying, "I hate how C-D posters are constantly arguing about whether Atlanta or Houston is better. Oh, by the way ... which one do you think is better?!"
Not to throw a wrench in the poll, but I too think the concept of voting for "most interesting history" is flawed. All of these cities have extremely interesting, unique histories -- and I come from the Philly area, as well. There are towns/cities across the US with so many interesting stories to share.

I agree. I don't think there is such thing as having a better histroy each city's history is unique.
