Both Mont-Royal Park and Central Park were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted; both parks are the most well known in their cities; both are located within center-city.

Mont Royal - No question! I'm a runner and I love hills. You can't beat the workout you can get on Mont Royal. Plus, the view of the skyline is spectacular from the top of the park.

Central Park is flat and crowded.

Actually parts of it is quite hilly and has some rocks, down hills and uphills but obviously nothing like the mountain of Mont-Royal.

Mont Royal. From the top are some of the best urban views on the planet. Plus I'm a big fan of Montreal in general.

My favourite view of DT Montreal is from the top of Mont Royal! Especially at night!

Mont Royal easily for me. More varied terrain and the views are out of this world. Central Park is great, but I have a hard time arguing in its favor in this debate.
