Even when Streets of Buckhead is complete, I'm still not sure if Buckhead would be the most urban shopping district in the Southeast. Folks are forgetting about Palm Beach/Worth Ave, and Coral Gables. No offense to Atlanta.

This has nothing to do with Palm Beach though. It's about Beverly Hills and Buckhead.

Well, I think Beverly Hills is the more urban of the 2. Even with the Marta Stations, and highrises, BH seem more classically urban.

I think its fair to say thay Atlantans threw in the towel, this thread was created in response to Ant's suggestion that buckhead and the golden triangle were compatible in urbanity, I think by the results its fair to say buckhead needs to surpass Miami and Dallas before it could be mentioned in the same breathe as Beverly Hills.

Yea I disagree myself, Dallas' answer to buckhead is uptown, but what does Atlanta have to counter highland park?

The new area that's being built in Buckhead could rival highland park.
