Not really. If most of the foreign growth is coming from ollegal immigration than that's not really something to brag about. We all know California isn't as strict on illegal immigration as some other states are.

Apparently thats still more desirable than everything Pittsburg offers.

Still the 4th most dangerous city ANYWHERE in the country. Oakland has 300% more homicides than Pittsburgh has.

And while Pittsburgh continues to get safer, Oakland is getting worse and worse every year.

2010 55 (17.6 per 100k)
2011 44 (14.3 per 100k)

Oakland, CA Homicides (Rate per 100k)
2010 90 (22.0 per 100k)
2011 104 (26.3 per 100k)

Thanks, but Pittsburgh's population is still shrinking while Oakland is growing.

I guess more people would rather risk dying from gunfire in East Oakland than dying from boredom in Pittsburgh.

Yeah we've already said and shown the population of the city and county Pittsburgh is in isn't going down anymore. The population of the city has gone up by a couple hundred since 2010 and the county has gone 8,000 in the same period. Didn't they teach you how to look at numbers in Oakland? You are beyond anything I've ever seen on this website. Like I said, you're did America a great favor by leaving it. Why did you leave the country if Oakland is soo wonderful?

Oakland has 275% more violent crime than Pittsburgh has.

And while Pittsburgh continues to get safer, Oakland is getting worse and worse every year. 7,963 people in Oakland were victims of a violent crime in 2012. That is nearly 2.15% of the population, meaning you have a 1 in 48 shot of being a victim.

Pittsburgh, PA Violent Crime (Rate per 100k)
2010 2,810 (918.3 per 100k)
2011 2,476 (809.2 per 100k)
2012 2,347 (767.0 per 100k)

Oakland, CA Violent Crime (Rate per 100k)
2010 6,267 (1582.6 per 100k)
2011 6,652 (1679.8 per 100k)
2012 7,963 (2010.9 per 100k)

Sure but does it really have any effect on the overall population of illegals?
