It doesn't matter. I'm simply trying to bring more attention to a skyline that warrants more attention than it's been getting simply because many people just aren't up on current events, and I've done that. If I posted too many pics, sorry about that. I tried to go back and edit some out, but you can't do that on this board after a certain amount of time. If I've posted the same pics I've "posted everywhere else," then I've covered all the bases. I don't know who's looked everywhere else. And while I know statistics have "completely nothing to do" with how powerful a skyline looks, that's just my way of saying this is why you should take another look at the skyline. So my work is done here.
That same tactic has been done over and over agian (Hint-THem relating you to Scranton,Lousiville.....HINT).
Miami is among the best cities for skyline. It doesn't have the density of NYC, but it is every bit scenic with new modern style high-rise buildings. Also #1 nightlife in the country.
It's true NewAtlantis and others have a real message when it comes to the Miami skyline. I used to be a skeptic, but now I truley belive Miami has a great skyline. Of course I don't think it's the most dominating, thats clearly chicago!!
In other cities you can't look down upon the skyline like you can in Pittsburgh. You can see the entire city, the stadiums, the hills, rivers, and beyond. From such a vantage point the bridges become a part of the skyline, part of the city because it's so well connected like everything was planned. Pittsburgh is not a glob of look-alike skyscrapers as in so many other cities. In the area where our fountain is was once a fort. When you come from the airport and go through the Fort Pitt tunnels you go from nothing to suddenly hit square in the face with an awesome jaw dropping city. It's a very powerful scene that nobody ever forgets.

scene. not skyline. same holds good for san francisco. driving around the streets you get some spectacular view. approaching the golden gate bridge from the north is a sight to behold. But that does not make it's skyline powerful
Posting back to the OP's Question. Chicago is the most Powerful Skyline, home to the Sears Tower, Hancok Building, Aon Center and a vast aray of maoder and older buildings.
Also the home to the future tallest skyscraper in North America!!!
