^^ I never said that Chicago's skyline was larger. Everybody knows that NYC's skyline is much larger. The only points being made against NYC's skyline is its lack of diversity.

It's not just about architectural styles. It's the placement of buildings, the dynamics of a skyline. The color scheme of buildings. The balance of the skyline etc.

Obviously NYC is going to have a larger skyline than Chicago seeing as it can stretch for just about as long as it desires with Manhattan. I don't think that New York is really an amazing skyline. Its cool that's its so large, but I don't think that that is the reason to vote it the best. NYC is an old city, no doubt, if it had a more modern skyline, it'd be the most amazing in the world. I personally think its over rated just because it has NYC stamped on it. If it were in Chicago, I guarantee people wouldn't find it that amazing.

But that first picture Bigcityguy posted is amazing. I love the vantage points. They make the city looks like it doesn't end when your inside it.

NYC's skyline is the most beautiful, impressive, powerful skyline in the United States.

It's the second best in the world, with #1 going to Hong Kong.

agreed, thats why always keep saying Seattle, San Fran, and Pittsburgh are my favorites. But nobody listens to me on this board. I guess I got to add Houston in there or troll to get any feedback.
